Fort of Van Der Wijck

Hey there! I`m back after Ramadhan is over but i collected 730 pictures from my camera that i have not uploaded yet!!! Yeah they came from different stories and of course i selected the best pictures to upload in my blog. Today school starts, pupils go to school with their uniform (or not), starting to know killer and nice teachers, nice and even mean kids, and crazy rules at school but i`m not. I started to continue my writings and find more vocabs for my language lesson i made myself.

I`m too much griping (so bad) about my little brother, they made me stress until now and i think i would run over my neigbor roofs and also your roof too!! It`s good i don`t think about to suicide, not, never, hahaha! Just kidding guys!

Now, i can`t resist the chance that`s given to me to tell you about my Eid holiday to my grandpa`s house in Tambak, Gombong or Banyumas. Was so excited to meet my family after in the long months we didn`t meet. Wow, really tired when i gone home but 2 days after that day, i asked to my father for going to the bookstore! Heheh, i prefer having books than gadget!

So i bought one Deutschsprache-buch or it`s a Deutsch language book. My father bought me a super special special hyper super super duper cooooool book by Texe Marrs and it`s titled CODEX MAGICA, it`s about iluminist symbols and i observe them until now, i learn about them. So amazing!

But now, forget them. Because what? Cause i want to show you the awesomeness of Van Der Wijck castle. It located in Gombong, Central Java. Here is it!

First, let me tell the short history behind this castle;

It was build on 1818 in Gombong...
It is on the right side of the fort front wall

And the location is 300metre from the highway of Kebumen-Yogyakarta.

The name Van Der Wijck came from the Dutch commander with a great career, in that time! (y) But do you know? Before the name`s Van Der Wijck Fort, this building was called Cochius Fort. Cochius name came from the name of a general that worked in Bagelen. His name is General Frans David Cochius (1787-1876).

This is what you can see when the first time you enter the gate...

And now, i entered the gate. Today was really busy and noisy, so many tourist came to this place!

My father!
Well, father`s doing pose to heheh :P

Readers, let me tell you about the function of this building. It was a defense fort of Dutch East Indies soldiers. It has 16 army barracks. The blocks surround the fort as the barracks firstly used as a defense of Prince Diponegoro`s armies.
This fort`s built in the initiative of General Van Den Bosch.

But don`t forget to be the passanger of mini train but it`s not ordinary train, it`s on the roof of the fort!

Of course i took photos :v

This way is for exiting!

Amazing and intriguing to learn about this fort. But readers, i think this post is enough, thanks and see you guys in my next story!
