Caspper 2015, When The Fun Stumbled in 3 Days #Part 3

The third day came, with a bundle of delight to taste. Today the event would be ended on the afternoon, but it did not mean we`d not do fun things. Of course, and the adventure, was presided by the treasure hunt – our main hustle on May 10th 2015. This grouping game, could be assumed as the last challenging vigour, on that third day. On that day, I decided not to clean myself up in the morning, and it`s reasonable – obviously because our adventure today was gonna be wet and dirty; we would be doing the grouping games in the ponds, we would be struggling by walking down the river... so inconvenient to imagine.

I embarked the day with praying, and followed by taking some family photos at the tent behind the bushes, also with some other families – taken by the expert of photography (you might check the site: www.kusmayasandi.com) , our photo results were gratifiying. To fill up energy, definitely I also had some breakfast, and then assembling with coeval friends for a while before we were instructed to be right on the ‘main field’ (I abbreviate it ‘main field’ because it was in front of the main spot for assembling, and activities took place there).

Here we had done a number of instructions, and the things which took place here was lasting on making a group and yel-yel of every group. Each group would be involved in the treasure hunt game. There were a number of challenges that we would struggle to win, and to win them, group solidarity was indispensable. To get into the place where the challenging games occur, we had got maps to show the challenge spots. Besides, there were also ‘coin moneys’ which actually was coin-shaped chocolate to spend in every challenge – we might assume the coins as ‘tickets’ to join the challenge.

So the first challenge my group had faced was taking out a ball in a long perforated pipe merely with water, and we must be working on closing the holes around the pipe, with anything; we might use finger, or leaves that surrounded us, or whatever. This challenge was the first that dampened us with the dirty water. And unfortunately, my team did not win the game. But don`t worry, because when we won the next challenges, it was satisfying.

The next challenge was a challenge were we must be using knowledge of biology. This game`s theme was the food chain. We got that there were pieces of puzzle matress served for us. Initially, the array of pieces were perplexing. But by noticing well the pictures upon the pieces, we would fathom about what to do. We were obligated to attain the end of those pieces and we must be knowing the most correct way to reach it, by taking step on a picture and continue it to another picture which is connected with the previous picture in its key chain aspect. And if one member got failed, there were chances for other member, but one of the member couldn`t refuse for being punished. And finally, we were luckily winning the challenge, and acquired a ‘pearl’ which was actually a small ball.

Considering the strategy, why so serious? :D

Besides this one, we also had the dancing ball challenge, taking a pearl beneath the crocodile eggs challenge, crossing the lake challenge, and so on.
Had over the ball trough the hole.

Carryin the water and fill it into a jerry can.

Crossing the lake. Most group did not win the challenge, we were lucky.

Every group who won the challenge and got some rewards (ball, pieces of puzzle, pieces of map), would be collecting those rewards to open the box of treasure. But evidently, there were still some pieces of puzzle who were hidden: three puzzles were hidden inside the cart, and another was hidden in the fountain that my group got there and found the piece of puzzle.

We walked down the low river, which down-stream was rapid and hard, with the accompaniment of local dweller. So many challenges here, and more struggles should be exerting. Being in this river was the best part of the treasure hunt, despite, some other groups did not complete the route of river, and were picking the shorter route. My team wasn`t. We walked and swam, at this extreme river, and the gratifying part was to get into the end of river. But certainly, we also enjoyed the river. Its beautiful look, its cold water, its circumstance, was such a joy.

All groups had finished their way to go back to the camping area, after struggling at the river. It was the time to collect the rewards of challenges, for opening the locked treasure box. Most kids delayed cleaning up themselves and kept being wet in looking for more puzzle pieces to open the treasure box.

Guess what? Finally the box was opened, not because the puzzles were completed. But because the kids, was trying another way to open it. Apparently, it`s not locked, and the lock was fake. Instead, we could just click a button and the box would be open. Inside, was a small statue as our reward. It was fun.

The mission had done, and then we only needed to clean up, and pack the stuffs, and go home after lunch.

The event was closed after lunch. A part of participants went home, but I was sure the committees were staying longer. Caspper 2015, was such a great memory, which made me learnt much. By reciting the experience and circumstance around me in this event, I had learnt scarcely everything. I learned to socialize from encountering new friends, I learned about emphaty from grouping and socializing itself, I learned about quequeing, everything.

So I`m thanking to all Caspper participants and those great committee members who made this camping event became that advantegeous and impressive to me. Uhm... think I`m waiting for the next Caspper. How about you?
