Caspper 2015, When The Fun Stumbled in 3 Days #Part 2
The second day would be more exhausting,
induced by how much things for us, to be involved in that day. At dawn, many tents
were still filled, but some ‘lifes’ already existed. Some participants used to
look for interlocutor to talk, some of them prayed, also decided to be
‘frozen’, that they took a bath with the extremely-cold water, like I did. But
we didn`t need to wait too long, because finally everybody woke up. That time, the
activities weren`t too serious and participants mostly got overspreaded.
But the first concurrent activity was
exercising. Participants got assembled at the wide field of grasses, moving in
the exercise with the accompaniment of music. Not all of them joined, but those
who joined was ample, still.
We subsequently walked down amongst the
snakefruit plants which surrounded us, right at its kaleyard. In some spots,
footpaths were really narrow that careness`s really indispensable, presumably
because sharp spines of jackfruit plants were around. Walk down here and you
could easily enjoy the picturesque view of Merapi mountain, which would grant a
beautiful impression.
The time to walk down the snakefruit
kaleyard, was over, and to fill up energies, definitely participants used to
have breakfast. Obviously because we had way more things to do today.
Evidently, the first session that children
would be in, was making handycraft and playing some traditional games. In this
session, we were taken into the memory of playing traditional games that
children rarely play now. I considered that this activity was beneficial for
introducing to the children, that there are alternatives of game and toys they
could play: those which could help rid the video games and gadgets away from children,
which had some negative sides. Instead, children could make the paper
propellers, umbrella knick-knack, paper puppet, and have fun with them.
Hustle was continued in the other spot of
Kampung Jawa Kembang. And now was the pantomime session. Initially, besides
getting entertained by the amusing puppet conversation, kids, teenagers, and
everybody there (including parents) were enticed to join in the “Kata Simon”
(renowned as Simon Says) game, that
we must be proceeding the instruction just if it was according to what Simon
said. In this session, we were also entertained by the pantomime performance of
a talented junior pantomime performance. Circumstance got roused. Audiences
smiled and laughed. We didn`t merely laughing, but some of us, must be feeling
affected by the sad tale we hear in this session.
Yes, we had hustles and hustles again! On
the afternoon while parents were in the parenting, education and homeschool
talk again, kids and teenagers, were assembled then divided into some groups. Each
group would learn about reptiles. Here, we could do questioning anything about
animals which is in the class of reptile, such as crocodile, snake, lizard,
newt, and so on – to a group of biology (who got deeper in herpetology)
collegers who came to explain about reptile, to us. I really enjoyed this, and
I had a fistful of question which I directly asked about. The conversation
about reptile, could be making me eager, and the reason was that I loved
watching TV programs about animals, it appealed me, and I loved scrutinising
animals. Besides, with some knowledge about reptile that I had known before, I
could understand what`s in the conversation well, and this is the way I was
preoccupied talking about reptile.
Next, was a session in the same spot where
pantomime and yesterday`s angklung-practicing-session had been proceeded, and
in this session, there came introductors about another countries in this world.
I came a little bit lately while everybody was noticing the introduction about Deutschland, or Germany. The one who
told us about that country, had been dwelling in Germany and I was freed to
render any question about Germany. Besides, the benefit I acquired, was that I
could practice speaking German with her, just to see my own ability. This was
the best session today that I got so many information.
While the children were in this session, the
parents were in the “Ngobras” (ngobrol bareng keluarga ora sekolah) session.
Some of the parents did talking about home education or home school, expounded
and explained about it, to the other parents. There was also Q&A session,
and I joined here. Even, I also explained about my homeschool experience, to
answer a question.
The day became darker which meant, there
came the time to pray, having dinner later, and some of us went cleaning up
themselves. The eve was the time where the fanfare was in. After we played some
quizes that the winners got some presents, the gift-exchanging had also been
done after that. Next, was campfire night to enjoy...
Campfire`s turned on, that the air became
warm and night became brighter – despite stars and moon couldn`t be seen that
night, hidden by the thick clouds over there. This time, everybody could do
performing anything which could entertain. Apparently, many participants with
sundry kinds of performance, were going to perform things they had prepared
before; music performances (including mine), riddle, story-telling, and more.
Me performing :p :v |
Performance time, was over. But the campfire
was still on outside our tents, and the time kept moving, it was time to take a
rest that some us, used to get into the tent and sleep until the new day was
coming. Nevertheless, a number of kids were still outside; talking, playing,
and having fun.[]
